Watch Dogs will feature free roam multiplayer for up to eight players in its open world.
The news comes from Ubisoft creative director Jonathan Morin, who responded to a fan on Twitter asking what we should expect outside of the game’s single-player offerings.

The news comes hot on the heels that the game finally has a release date of May 27, 2014. This means that Watch Dogs received six months of extra development following previous delays. Ubisoft delayed Watch Dogs just a month before the game was supposed to come out in November 2013. Despite a scare last month for gamers when the game’s trademark was abandoned, Ubisoft since explained that such a move was the result of fraud, before successfully getting the trademark restored.
